Data science and me
As a Statistics student at Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo, I have developed strong skills in manipulation, modeling, and interpretation of data across various domains. Currently, I am focused on visualizing public health data related to pregnant women as part of my work at the Observatório Obstétrico Brasileiro developed by Daslab. I’m part of the organization team of the 69th Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Region of the International Biometric Society (RBras) and the 21st Symposium on Statistics Applied to Agricultural Experimentation (SEAGRO) will be held at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) , in Vitória, Espírito Santo, from August 4 to 8, 2025. I’m actively involved with the R-Ladies Vix, a group dedicated in promotes gender diversity in the R community.
I’m naturally curious, and I believe my constant desire to understand the world around me is what drew me to this profession.
In addition to studying statistical theories and computational modeling, I’m also learning HTML and CSS to enhance the aesthetic quality of my interactive reports and dashboard panels.

My hobbies
In my (short and increasingly rare) free time from academic and scientific life, you’ll find me either picking up a new book to read or crocheting amigurumis. I’m fortunate to live in a coastal city with beautiful landscapes and beaches, where I enjoy going out with friends and family. On weekends, I try to go rollerblading by the beach to clear my mind.
